DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 LIMA - IQUITOS - NAUTA (B, L, D).
Early flight from Lima to Iquitos. Reception at the airport and transfer to Nauta, the embarkation point of La Perla cruise. After lunch, a brief orientation for all passengers will be provided, followed by the first exploration aboard our skiffs for observing diverse wildlife. The day will conclude with dinner in the main dining area, followed by relaxation in the observation deck hammocks.
DAY 2 AMAZON RIVER / YARAPA / UCAYALI (B, L, D).
The second day begins with a delightful breakfast, after which we'll disembark for an exploration on the skiffs through Peru's largest natural reserve. Here, guides will lead us to observe the incredible pink dolphins of the Amazon. After lunch, we'll embark on a new exploration, initiating our first jungle walk. Throughout the day, we may spot exotic birds, playful monkeys, and perhaps even caimans in their natural habitat. An evening with live music awaits us for dinner, followed by a nocturnal excursion for those feeling adventurous.
DAY 3 UCAYALI RIVER / MARAÑON (B, L, D).
The "La Perla" cruise adopts a sustainable approach towards local communities. This morning, we'll visit one of the riverside villages, where we can interact with the local people and learn about their traditions and ways of life. We'll enjoy cultural demonstrations and handmade crafts. Beforehand, we'll try our luck in an exciting Piranha fishing activity and discover the spectacular Victoria Regia. After lunch, we'll disembark to explore other parts of the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve and delve into the secrets known only by the local guides. Before returning to the cruise, we'll pause to witness an incredible sunset. Upon return, we'll have our farewell dinner on board the cruise.
DAY 4 NAUTA - TREE HOUSE LODGE (B, L, D)
On the last day of the journey aboard the "La Perla" cruise. So, after breakfast, we'll check out, bid farewell, and be transferred by river to Nauta. Once there, we'll be taken by land to the Iquitos airport for our flight back to Lima.
