Sample Program 6

Day 1 · International - Lima: Arrival in Lima, the capital that never fails to surprise. Depending on your arrival time, settle in and enjoy the city's world-class gastronomy.

Day 2 · Lima - Iquitos - Amazon Cruise: Flight to Iquitos and embarkation on the river cruise. The Amazon receives the traveler in all its vastness, and the first sunset over the river already justifies the detour.

Day 3 · Amazon Cruise: Navigation through tributaries and oxbow lakes with guided boat excursions and jungle walks. The forest reveals itself at every bend in the river, generous and unhurried.

Day 4 · Amazon Cruise: Another day of river exploration: piranha fishing, pink dolphin spotting, and visits to riverside communities where life flows at the rhythm of the water.

Day 5 · Amazon Cruise - Lima - Cusco - Sacred Valley: Disembarkation in Iquitos, flight to Lima, and connection to Cusco. Descent to the Sacred Valley to begin Andean acclimatization. Arrival in the valley late afternoon.

Day 6 · Sacred Valley: A day to explore the valley's highlights: the ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, the circular terraces of Moray, and the salt mines of Maras. For those seeking more, we can include soft adventure activities such as hiking, horseback riding, cycling, or zipline.

Day 7 · Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco: Train to Aguas Calientes and ascent to Machu Picchu, the lost citadel of the Incas and one of the most breathtaking wonders on the planet. Arrival in Cusco late afternoon or evening.

Day 8 · Cusco: A full day in Cusco: the Qorikancha, the Plaza de Armas, the neighborhoods of San Blas, and the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuamán, where the size of the stones remains a mystery without a satisfying answer.

Day 9 · Cusco - Lake Titicaca: Journey to Puno and first sight of Titicaca — the world's highest navigable lake, with waters so deeply blue they seem invented.

Day 10 · Lake Titicaca: Boat tour to the Uros Islands, built on floating totora reed, and to Taquile Island, where time seems to stand still and the textiles say more than words.

Day 11 · Lake Titicaca - Lima: Flight to Lima. Morning in the historic center: the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs, and the Larco Museum. The afternoon is free to explore Lima on your own.

Day 12 · Lima: A day in modern Lima: a stroll along the Miraflores seafront overlooking the Pacific, an afternoon in Barranco with its republican architecture, and dinner at one of the restaurants that have put Lima on the world's culinary map.

Day 13 · Lima - International: Transfer to the airport for your international departure. A journey through jungle, Andes, and altiplano is not easily forgotten.

Amazon cruises operate on specific departure dates. Minimum 3 nights. 4-night option available.

For added comfort, an extra night in Lima can be inserted between disembarkation in Iquitos and the flight to Cusco.
